STARRED REVIEW!
Publisher's Weekly, on Cat Fear No Evil:
"[S]uperior cat cozy, the ninth entry in Murphy's popular series... As usual, the relationships between the lively human characters and the talking cats in whom they confide their problems provide as much interest as the crime solving. The intricate and absorbing plot keeps the reader in suspense throughout."

Booklist, on Cat Fear No Evil:
"Once again the delightful mix of humans, sentient cats, mystery, and humor remains true to the preceding books in the series."

Kirkus, on Cat Laughing Last:
"[T]he series premise remains delicious, executed with wry pungency and affection for life's small pleasures."

Publisher's Weekly, on Cat Spitting Mad:
"Cat lovers will cuddle right up to Joe and his pals, but the story has plenty of murder and mayhem for those who take their detective fiction straight up."

Spring is nearly upon us after a long, bad winter in much of the country. The sun is shining here in Molena Point, the flowers and flowering trees are blooming, the birds are starting to nest and will soon be dive-bombing imnocent cats! And of course we cats are off on the hunt, so, even if we decide to leave the birds alone, watch out, you mice and rats!

Valentine's Day is past, but even so, romance is in the air among our human friends and romance, as well . . . But that secret can wait for the next book! Cat Playing Cupid will be out in February, 2009 -- seems like a long time away, but Morrow/Avon brings out only one of our adventures per year, so we hope you’ll be patient. And please be patient about the mailing list, too -- it’s not a regular newsletter, folks, it’s sent out only to announce a new book. (Patience isn’t my strong point either, except when I’m watching a mouse hole.)

Your pal, Joe Grey. And a loving greeting from Dulcie and Kit.
